Sunil’s Venture - Adi  

Sunil took up the cause of improving farming in his village to ensure increase in employment and income generation. The villagers, till very recent past, did farming the traditional way, using rudimentary methods like bullock carts. Due to his perseverance and hard work this has enhanced significantly in the last 8 months. Now the villagers have job cards for farming and they use modern techniques of farming like tractors, high breed seeds. With the newer appliances and methods it has been possible for them to take in vast tracts of unused land under cultivation. They have also started cultivating commercial crops for steady income generation and have access to bigger buyers in the market place. Sunil says, “Now I can talk to people easily and explain them about my ideas freely. My leadership skills have improved and I can motivate others to follow my idea of working. Youth Venture not only helped me financially but also instilled in me the confidence to follow my dream.”
