Give More - Get More: YV on Global Giving

Ashoka’s Youth Venture aims to support 100 young people to become changemakers over the next 18 months.  Ambitious, right?  Maybe, but we know that there are hundreds of young Indians ready for the Youth Venture experience.   All we need is funding in order to give it to them.

Now there’s an accelerated path to get the funding we need.

Globalgiving.com, the excellent site that connects individual donors with organizations around the world, has launched a matching funds campaign called Give More - Get More.   From now until 1st December, the more people donate, the more Global Giving donates on top of that. If we earn up to US$2500, GG will match 30%.  Up to $7500, GG spots 40%.  And $7500 and beyond, Global Giving will match 50%!  Plus,

the three projects that raise the most money will receive additional bonuses of $5,000, $3,000, and $1,000. The same goes for the three projects with the  greatest number of unique donations– they will also be awarded bounty funds of $5,000, $3,000, and $1,000.

That means that if a bunch of people give just a little bit, we stand to earn big money.  So log in, give what you can, and get your friends to do the same! This is your chance to make a huge impact.  But take action now - the campaign only lasts until 1st December.
