Bhavana’s Venture - Bal Kalyan

With an old blackboard received as donation, Bhavana started her Venture of teaching the children from her village. She felt the necessity to bridge a need gap as quality of education imparted in the local school was poor. She started tuition classes for these children making learning more fun through singing, games, toys and other activities like hiking. Her initiative has drastically improved their learning capability and has increased their zeal for studying. Seeing the transformation she has been able to bring about, support has been forthcoming from within her community. From being a lone crusader she now has a team of 15 members. She believes if more people join this crusade in her district it will trun around the whole area for the better. Bhavana feels with the new improved education in her village, the children will progress in their life. She also thinks that the youth should motivate the parents to send the children to study hence making the future brighter for the next generation.
